ARCvi was shaped by the voices of community violence intervention programs themselves.
Through a needs assessment of CVI organizations, we asked practitioners what kinds of tools, training, and technical assistance would be most useful for strengthening their work. This site—and the resources we curate here—is our response to those needs: a practical, evolving hub designed to help programs build capacity in the areas that matter most.
Assessment FindingsAbout ARCvi
ARCvi is a Temple University initiative originally launched in collaboration with the Public Policy Lab in the College of Liberal Arts with funding from the Stoneleigh Foundation and currently supported by the Green Family Foundation and in-kind resources from Temple University. The website was created to provide community-based violence intervention (CVI) programs with curated tools and practical guidance.
Through collaboration with practitioners and experts, ARCvi helps programs build stronger evaluation practices, more sustainable funding strategies, and greater long-term impact. Learn more
